I've now been included in the roster of composers which contribute music to Paramount/CBS Television Distribution's own music library! This music is used for such shows as The Oprah Winfrey Show, Dr. Phil, Rachael Ray, Entertainment Tonight, The Insider, and The Doctors. Unfortunately, due to the highly sensitive and overprotective nature of these studios, I can't share this music with you all. Steve Childs (director, producer, cinematographer, and painter) has put a lot of time and resources into this award-winning documentary, and it was such a pleasure to be able to write an original score to complement it. Earlier this month, I was lucky enough to begin working for esteemed composer, writer, and podcaster Deane Ogden. This, our first project together, is the independent feature film Bad Faith. It premieres in at the Crest Theater in Sacramento, CA, on May 28!

I had the awesome opportunity to write my first score for a feature-length film way back (rather, what seems like "way back") in the summer of 2008. What resulted was over 25 minutes of music for a wonderful film about fighting for your dreams. While the gig ultimately didn't work out — the filmmakers decided to go in a different direction, musically — I'm still extremely glad I took the chance. The film's writer and director, Roberto Froment, is a really awesome guy, and he has continued to help me fight for my own dream as I pursue my career as a film composer.
Today, I'm finally releasing my music from Fighter to the public! As with And We Will Dance, it's available as a digital download. Reverbnation has made it very easy to create an online "store", so I'm giving it a shot with this album. So…
Fighter, vis-à-vis the film, has gone through a few changes since 2008, including a renaming to Anything Goes (Vale Todo). It is slated to release to theaters and DVD on May 4, 2010; go watch it when it comes out!
Taxy has been finished on my part for almost a year, but I'm very excited to say that this awesome short film directed by Danilo Santos is making the rounds quite successfully at several film festivals lately! It's already made appearances at the Orlando Hispanic Film Festival and the Vistas Film Festival, and it is scheduled to screen at the Silk City Flick Fest, the Black Swamp International Film Festival, and the Flint Film Festival in the coming weeks.
